XGauge commands/codes 150 Prado

Hi all,

I am trying to install some new XGauge commands into my ScanGauge for use on a 150 Prado.

I have the DPF % codes, but I am wondering if anyone has the codes for the DPF Temp and EGT from the engine.
I have been unable to get the Auto Transmission Temp code working from the SG website for some reason. Ive double checked but to no avail (as yet)

Any thoughts, comments and suggestions.
I have searched thru the forums, but I am only able to find the command to initiate a DPF burn as well as the DPF % code.

While you are on the codes, what are the codes for the DPF burn and DPF % ? Thanks.

Im using the one above for the DPF%.
Ive loaded in the EGT, so we shall see how it goes.
For some reason, I’m still unable to get the Auto Transmission Temp working on this 150. I’m using the codes as stated on the Scangauge website for reference.

Ive loaded the standard command to the scan gauge to command a burn, but I have not tried it as yet. I’ll try it now I can see what % the DPF is at and hopefully I don’t need to (if the DPF does what it’s supposed to do).

Keep the codes coming, the more the merrier .... will be interesting to load them in and see what extra info we can get out of the vehicle.

Thanks for these. Ive loaded them into the SG so I will see how they go when I am next out on the road.....

The ATF Codes above are considerably different to those provided on the SG website for the vehicle. Thank you for posting the correct codes!

The more information we can see, the better - so we can keep an eye on what is happening in the vehicle.

the SG website shows the old codes i think , for the earlier gearbox not the 6 speeder. The codes i found and used are accurate , i tested with a laser thermometer to confirm. I think its vital to monitor as many temps as possible - On a trip to outback QLD last year with an outside temp of 45deg i recorded an average gearbox temp of 93deg , with just me driving , no load , no towing , no hills . the heat soak off the roadway was incredible. If i was laden im sure the temps would have shot up to 110+ shortening the fluid's lifespan. Ive been told a transmission cooler will drop that figure by 15deg or so.

Quick question ....

Does the EGT codes relate to the EGT from the DPF or the Engine?

Any codes to see what temp the DPF is getting up to during a burn?

EGT is the temp leaving the turbo , the one labelled DPF temp in post no2 above is at the exit of the DPF

Hi guys, I just wanted to get all of my codes for the 1GD , from various threads all in one place. Can anyone confirm that these are all correct?

Also, what does "Custom command to start burn" mean? Can I force a burn using the SGII? When would I want to do that?

As for DPF temperature the one quoted here TXD 07DF0178 is the standard pid which I think may apply to all vehicles, a more accurate one reverse engineered from techstream uses the header 07E0 and the Toyota specific "21" group.
Using 2105 (T*256+U) on torque pro gives me figures that agree with techstream so I would think they are more accurate. So the first line of scan gauge should read TXD 07E02105 but as to how you convert the rest of it I have no idea.

Thank you JohnLynn, It's actually the DPF Temp that I cannot get to work using the codes listed above by Nudgebar. All the other codes I listed work fine.

I will try changing the TXD code to 07E02105 and see if I get any success. Thanks again.

they all worked for me , and i just copied / pasted them from elsewhere so i dont think i made a typing error. let us know how it goes?
