  • Is it possible add SAT NAV GPS to 2015 GXL ?

Anyone managed to add Sat Nav to the standard touch screen radio in the 2015 GXL ?

Pretty sure it's a firmware change and adding of an GPS antenna.
Just can't seem to find any info.

Prestige off road here in Melb do it. It costs around $1700 with Hema maps.

On or Off road? Sounds tempting if offroad maps would work.

      Cheers,

I have the AdvancedIce module installed and it works a treat I didn't get the offroad maps as I have a tablet with OziExplorer which works better for me and I like to check maps at home Yes it is expensive but does work well and very responsive unlike what I have heard about some of the replaced head units that come from China.

It's seems it's as simple as connecting a module to the existing Radio, and this will activate the Sat Nav function on the unit.
Been told this can then do Oziexplorer (Hema Maps) and IGO for Sat Nav

Local shops want over $1000 for this module, had a look on ebay and I think it's something like this:
            http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141716987...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

$1000+ is a lot for just sat nav!
