Hi All,
Today was the end of 1st month inspection routine for my GXL. Apart from the inspection the front parking sensors were also to be installed. Everything was fine till I reached back home - no requirement to use the sensors while exiting the service centre.
While reversing in the garage i noticed that the visual proximity indicator - little car icon with flashing sides and back that indicates which side of the car is close to an object has vanished from the display screen. Also I noticed a very "different" beeping regime on reversing.
There is no continuous beep if you are way too close to an object. The beeping sound was also different.
Front sensors are ok.
I have called the dealers and they said it should not happen but will get in touch with the service guys on Monday morning.
Any ideas?
