I have a 2016 Prado Kakadu with an annoying rattle inside the console between the 2 front seats, does anyone know how to remove the console?

I removed the panels about three of years ago to expose the interior so it can be done! I was adding another cigar socket in the dash for my aftermarket navigator - not searching for a rattle. The following steps are taken from the manual. The pictures in the manual help identifying the parts that need removing. (
Assumes automatic transmission and single Air Conditioning system*
1. Pull Air Cond.etc Control Panel directly out of centre dash (Plastic levers recommended)
2. Remove Left and Right Side panels from lower centre dash (Plastic levers recommended)
3. Remove Lower Front Console Garnish (5 switches including central Low/High range) (Plastic levers recommended)
4. Remove No.1 Instrument Panel Cover Sub-Assy (Remove screw first)
5. Remove Front No.1 Console Box Insert
6. Remove No.2 Instrument Panel Cover Sub-Assy (Remove screw first)
7. Remove Front No.2 Console Box Insert
8. Push Shift Lever Cover down and twist Shift Lever Knob Anticlockwise and pull off.
9. Remove Console Panel Sub-Assembly (Plastic levers recommended)
10. Remove No.1 Console Box Duct*
This is as far as I went.

I've done this a couple of times. It's not difficult if you do it in a systematic way. I've got a pdf file with a series of photos showing how to go about it. PM me with your email contact if you want a copy as the file won't upload here as it's too big.

Thank you Gee Whiz - I just wanted to make it clear what I am looking at - since there is some confusion all over the web when you search for centre console - both the console box and the console where the radio is located are referred to as centre console. Yes it may be one unit but I am wanting to split the 2 to remove just the box. I am doing the best I can and appreciate all comments. I am not asking anyone to do the work for me. It is very useful if someone else has done this before. I am on my own in this regard - and thought Prado people would be the best to give advice - if someone has done this before. I am not a mechanic, nor am I a panel beater. I am merely someone who is trying. If I make mistakes - I am sorry. But thanks anyway for your time, appreciated.
