  • Prado 150 - car mats

Hi all, I have a 2019 GXL Prado with leather/electric seats.
I'm looking at getting some all weather mats, Bedrock have some but only fit the model without the electric seats.
Not sure if the 3D ones fit?
Under the drivers side seat is the electrical unit for the seats so its possible to cut out a small piece from the second row mat apparently.
Does anyone have fitted matts for the prado 150 electric seat model?

    thanks!

I have the Bedrock in the front only, didn't buy the rears due to the issue you pointed out. The front ones fit fine, nicely moulded. I would've liked them to go up a bit higher on the transmission tunnel but thats being picky. I also put some of the non slip rubber under the passenger side mat just to stop a little bit of movement.

In my old 90 Series Prado I used some mats from general auto stores ie Autobarn or Supercheap.
The style is practical for my vehicle lifestyle, so I just reused them in my new 150 Series vehicle.
I find them practical as we are frequently at or near a beach. The deep sides keep sand, dirt and water within the sides of the mats.
If you are wondering why I mention water. Well, we frequently scuba dive using our boat.
Launching and recovering the boat at a boat ramp usually requires a shallow wade in the water wearing wetsuit and neoprene dive boots.
Water from wet dive boots and wetsuit legs drains into the floor wells, so mats with deep slides and no leaks are important for us.

The make of mat shown in the photo are usually sold without using those thin plastics tags piercing the mats, so they don't leak.
They are not perfect fit of course, but value for money, for me.

I usually tip the pool of salty water out of the mat as soon as practical. I don't want salty water soaked into my car's carpet.

My mats are between five and ten years old. Still work for me so kept using them.

Toyota service manager pulled driver's mat out saying that it was not fixed to the floor, hence it could move and get stuck amongst the pedals. Hmmm.
The mat is back in service for me.

I've ordered the weathertech 3d mats, arriving soon, I can post some photos.bit more expensive and they ship from the US so they take a bit of time to arrive. Order from Bodyline website.

How did you find the weathertech mats
tollair ? I can't decide between the bedrock mats, maxpro or weathertech for my 2021 GXL.
