Had the chance to spend a day in the latest Prado today doing a wide variety of driving for work on city, country, and dirt roads. The engine felt strong, definitely an improvement, although no better than my 1kd-ftv with a Steinbauer. The gearbox also changed nicely and used 6th on the open road without any problems.
What surprised me was an odd hesitation around 60km/h. Has anyone else experienced that? The drive also re-affirmed how good the custom Iron-Man suspension that Whitey did is which I have on my Prado, it absolutely craps on the standard suspension, especially on dirt roads.
