  • Changing Fog Light Housing

    Hi All,

I'm hoping this will be a super quick one.
I had some rain leak into my driver's side fog light and literally explode when I next switched it on, breaking the glass on the front of the unit.
Consequently I'm looking to replace the housing.
I was considering getting a set of lights with Angle Eyes but I'm not sure there will be power available for the additional Angel Eye wire. That aside...

What I really want to know is, am I going to have to remove the front bumper cover to get to the fog light housings? Or can I swap them out from beneath the car?

News just in. I got off my lazy arse and took a look for myself this morning.
For those playing at home, the front cover surround for the fog lamp pops off with 4x clips around the lamp in the usual locations and can be reached from beneath the car.
The housing itself (well mine at least) was secured by a single screw on the top outside corner, which can also be reached from beneath the car - albeit blind.
I might have to record a You Tube video to show the world as there's nothing online that I can find for changing the fog lamps on a 2009 150 series (round fog lamps)
