Hey! Had a situation where the driver door "courtesy switch" (thing that registers when your door is open/closed) was faulty, so was left car at airport, returned three days later to hear my alarm had been going off until battery was totally flat - poor airport staff!
Anyway, remote FOB wouldn't open the doors. So tried the physical mechanical key. No Luck, turned but didn't open doors.
Had to get locksmith to open door so could open bonnet and jump the battery.
Even now with working battery, the mechanical key doesn't open the doors? Any suggestions ideas, worried next time battery dead I'm away in the bush!
