I've had mine fitted for a few months now and glad I did, other than protecting the shock from stone damage it also protected one of my shocks from damage when I hit a decent sized rock.Bent the shock guard out of shape but with some persuasion from a lump hammer all is good again.

          Upgraded design

It seems that these rear shocks cop an absolute hiding on gravel roads. They also seem to get knocked around a bit when 4wding. The lower bolt head can get quite damaged.

So from feedback and comments I've beefed up the shock guards. They are now 2.5mm Stainless and are welded across the bottom gusset. This will help hold the shape better if it gets hit by a bit rock or obstacle.
I have also gone to hex style nut inserts that are less prone to spinning and slipping.

Shape is slightly different and there is plenty of clearance for the ironman shocks.

Will have some ready in the next week or so. Price will be slightly higher but will confirm once I get proper pricing for an economical batch size.

You can order them from Tin's website here: https://www.kaon.com.au/store/p36/Re...ronman%29.html

Edit: Or a bit cheaper on the ebay store, not sure if they're the new design though: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Shock-Ab...-/191852005896
