  • Remove 1 third row seat from Prado 150 GXL 2010 ?

    Hi guys,

I have a 2010 Prado 150 GXL with the 2 flip up seats in the boot.

I have the idea to just remove one and create a lid for the space to make it into a little storage compartment.

Is it possible to just remove one seat, not both?

Googling for pictures etc. I'm seeing different things, or just photos without explanations etc. and half look like one seat comes out, half look like the pair comes out in one go.

    Can anyone confirm?

Shows individual seat removal is possible according to this.

Yes but some of the trims are a single piece across both seats. Originally I planned to remover one and keep one and I would have had to make up a new rear trim and mounting plate. Not too onerous but luckily both fell out.
