Hi. In a seperate post I’ve asked if anyone has done this instal in a 2022 VX.
At the moment we do have the twin compressor installed in our 2014 Facelift. I’d rather junk the sub woofer for the compressor if it’s do able. Does anyone know if removing the sub woofer causes any issues?

same question for my 2018 VX will go look for your other thread
Try disconnecting the woofer and see what happens.
If the entertainment system throws a code then measure the speaker's impedance with a multi-meter (might be 50 or 75 ohms).
Replace it with a resistor of similar wattage (should be a label on the speaker with specs).
Hi. I can verify that removing the subwoofer and resonating box causes no issues at all except a slight drop off in bass.
For me not a big issue compared to the ability to use the compressor for tyres and lockers.
