Newbie and have seen all the lean stuff which I have and when front shocks recently replaced - of course It now leans because non dealer (rac no less) service did it and I found out later about the issue. However, my issue is the front hydraulic cylinder unit leaks and KDSS light is on. OEM replacement indicated by dealer to relieve which is of course $$$. Is there a source for refurbished units. $1000 for a unit because of leaking seal grates a bit. Getting this remedied will go towards the lean of course. Any tips??

Gday Brad, yes unfortunately when I replaced my shocks at a “dodgy” service centre in Midland Perth they were to fix the R/H lean in the KDSS system whilst changing shocks. They failed to do it correctly and in fact ARB Making Tracks Midland informed me that they were supposed to install a spacer above the R/H spring to deal with the lean. It was actually on the paperwork at ARB that our model Prado’s required the spacer.
I’ve just had a service done at a reputable Toyota specialist and they had a quick look to see if they could sort it without the spacer, and no was the answer. Unfortunately them playing with it has caused it to start leaking so will chase them up Monday. -
