  • Suspension upgrade - Nube advice

I have looked through the database and I am a bit confused (sorry nuby to suspension).

I have a 2012 150 diesel with ARB steel bar, lights and second battery on front and fridge and fridge slide (no draws) on back plus tow camper TBW 120kg.

I have been quoted the following for suspension replacement
    • Front - Bilstein B6 (BE5 A712) King Springs (KTFR 101H - 50-100kg)
    • Rear - Bilstein B6 (24-238830) King springs (KTFR101HD - 100-250kg)
    • Firestone Air bag kit

I am trying to understand if this combination works and how this compares with what seems to be preference in forum posts for the Bilstein/Dobinson combination

    Any thoughts appreciated

Consider changing the front BE5-A712 to BE5-D563
I think the rear part number coil should be KTRR-102HD. However, the HD is too stiff for your daily load of just the fridge. As you are installing the air bags anyway, go for the KTRR-102.

jaysea007 out of curiosity how much was that quote and through who? I am keen to get some B6s installed front and back but with some PolyAir air bags.

Hard to go past Zordo in Brisbane for suspension pricing, he can send them interstate too without issue.

$2,785 supply and install. PM me if you want the company - Sydney based. I have not gone ahead yet - still trying to work through options. Any reason for the PolyAir?

FYI Zordo’s price was $1850 supply only August last year, it is not a hard job to install perhaps see if a local mechanic will do the install for you.
Who knows letting them know about Zordo might sweeten the pot.
