KDSS Lean

Anyone else experiencing this? Mine leans up to 25mm at the rear and 20mm at the front to the drivers side since lifted. The lean may have been there prior to the lift however I never noticed it.
The valves were loosened prior to the suspension being worked on and the reset procedure has been done (rock the car on flat level ground with valves open). I also had Toyota bleed the system to ensure there was no air in there. I have the service manual for the KDSS and it only states these two procedures to correct the system. The lean remains.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how was it corrected?

Having the same issue on my VX without the lift and I have been told to expect it after the lift as well... It depends on the day as well, some days it sits level other days (like tonight) I park it in our garage and you can see it. My kit is installed in around 5 weeks, I will post the measurements then.

What kit did you go for?

I was on LCOOL looking at the 200 series forum. There was a KDSS thread. Basically it said that if you park on uneven ground it can develop a lean that will fix itself in a couple of days. Problem is if you park in a driveway that is uneven it will never get a chance to fix itself.

The thing is, my lean is there ALL the time and does not vary like the LC200 users experience. I park in my garage which is perfectly level. I have tried parking it in spots that are uneven to induce a lean to the other side with no effect.

I went for Darren's autocraft premium Bilstein package with polyairs.

Toyota should be able to re calibrate it as well.

If it leans, it generally seems it always had it, it just did it sooner at the new height.

Its a KDSS thing.

We have had a 200 at different dealers after the first one didnt do it right, and gave it back, with air in the system, and so dealer No 2 got it right, $600 later, the only ones to touch it since the previous dealer......

Lean now fixed on that one.

So you are implying that the dealer did not do the procedure correctly? I wouldnt be at all surprised.
Through your dealings with 200 owners by any chance do you know of any dealers in SA who actually know what the hell they are doing in this area?

Fortunately the first reset was done under warranty - so nothing lost except my time.

The only dealer I know of to have got it right at all, let alone first time, so far is Oakleigh in Vic.

Finally had the drivers side front spacer installed into my VX today, no more lean! One happy guy now. Thanks for the info Schniff, appreciate your assistance.
