We had Maxxis Bighorns on the Colorado and at about 50% they became lethal in the wet. I didn"t like how the original AllTerrain BFGs did the same though much later in life but the KO2s and KM2s seem much better. We have about 40,000km on the KO2s now on the 150 and they are still good.

If you are just running 1 set for both on and off road I'd say the Best overall is the KM2, I don't feel there the best off-road compared to the others mentioned but still do the job and also think there the best on road MT tyre, also get decent mileage out of them
The bighorns 762s were good they did become noisy on road as they wore that did not worry me too much as they were an off-road set anyway did well on all surfaces Faster wearing than the other 2.
The Nitto Trail grapplers were also good but found they needed to sit around 14psi as a starting point for off-road use, Would run them down to 6psi and they would perform flawlessly, Not ideal running those pressures if your concerned about dropping a bead and with std rims there's every chance you will, there the heaviest duty radial tyre I have used which significantly reduces wear and damage but in turn suffers from the issues mentioned above
Cant comment on the 764s as I have not used them
Also Keep in mind the KM3 is due for sale later this year
I had BFG AT and Maxxis 751's on my Vitara (yes, massive wieght difference and the ATs..., so this post could be irrelevant).
The BFGs were shocking from day 1 on a wet road, but ok on a dry road, they were great off road. Everyone I personally know (not online people) say the same for the BFG ATs.
The Maxxis were great on road (wet and dry) and just as good as the BFGs offroad in the areas I went, with one exception - they were terrible on wet grass. Some of the places I got 'stuck' (had to get a run up) was just cause of the wet grass and small incline. Got up the hills fine, but couldn't start on the hill.
The BFGs got me 110,000 kms if i recall correctly. The Maxxis got me around 60,000 before I sold it, and still had a lot of life left in them - I reckon they would have gone to 110,000 kms as well.
Price difference at the time: $275 ea for BFG and $130ea for Maxxis. (235/75/15)
