I have just upgraded to a 2015 GX, from a 2004. I have a camper trailer that has aftermarket Prado rims, however came with 265/70R17. My current vehicle has good AT rubber, 265/65R17. On my old vehicle (part time 4wd) I was happy to that I could mix and match the spares if needed, as long as the rear had the same size, however now with the full time 4wd I am unsure if I could run say different sizes on the front with out doing some damage.
Can some one shed some light on how the full time 4wd works and if i will do something like ‘wind up’ if in an emergency I had different diameter tyres?
many thanks.
