Hi There
I may be using the wrong terminology (ie offset) but I have a question. Today I was tinkering around measuring the width of the my Prado at the rear guards left to right. In doing so, I noticed that the right rear tyre was almost flush or plumb with the rear guard where as the left tyre was 20-25mm in. To explain it another way, imagine if you ran a spirit level from the top of rear guard to the ground plumb, my right rear tyre touches the bottom of the spirit level when is plumb. When I do it on the left side, there is a gap of 20-25mm between the bottom of the plumb spirit level and the tyre. Is this normal? The suspension is std, I have slightly taller tyres (265/70/17s instead of 265/65/17s).
