Luke, just as an aside, how is the Warburton Track from the Rig road down to the crossing. I have done the section from the Rig Rd up to Poeppels. I was planning to tow my camper up to the Rig road Rd to camp near there and do a day trip up to Poepells then back out the same way. For reference I have done all of the main tracks in the Simpson except this bottom part.. Cooper AT3s have been fine in this country.

As you will know, there are some big dunes on the Eastern end of Rig Rd. Most of them have the typical Rig Rd surface but some of the peaks are being, or have been, consumed by sand. If you've made it that far it won't be a problem for you but we did a bit of walking when we weren't expecting to do to work out the best line up and where the track went on the other side.2011 Prado 150
SmartBar, Kings springs, Bilstein shocks with a ScanGuage on the way.

Drove to Poeppel Corner - up and back along the Warburton Track and K1 Line, last year. Inside the park the track was a sublime flat run between the dunes and along the edge of dry(ish) clay-pans.
However, outside the park it looked like station country. The Warburton floodplain (west of the Warburton Creek) was rougher than any heavily corrugated road.
1-2 Km sections @ 10Km/hr tops. The floodplain consisted of heavily textured (tool-box sized lumpy) hard ground, making 10Km/hr your max speed.
The terrain around the track was worse, dense floodplain bushes and even lumpier hard ground.
However, the North/South drive inside the park is worth the pain of getting there.
