My first post here aside from intro thread after a bit of lurking.
My 2014 Prado VX is stock standard. Had been looking at wheels and tyres and was ready to push go just before the first series of Covid lockdowns. I have a WOF inspection due, booked for next Monday and thinking the standard A/Ts on the back will potentially fail.
At this stage thinking I can stick with my 18" rims they are 7.5Jx18 ET25 and look pretty good, may paint them black or red to match the new company logo as is officially a company car.
Standard tyres I have on there now are 265/60 and a rolling diameter of 30.5". One website also has 285/60 as being a standard option? Gives a rolling diameter of 31.5". I can get a set of Toyo Open Country A/T Ii for $1875 in this size or a set of Yokohama G015 Geolandar All Terrain for $1250.
Wondering if these would fit OK with a 1.5 - 2" lift?
285/65 gives a rolling diameter of 32.6" but suspect this would be pushing it.
Lift kit wise I'm pretty set on this adjustable kit as I've had Tein coilovers in the past - https://nzkw.com/product/tein-4x4-toyota-prado-j150/
I looked into getting 17x7.5 +15 wheels as mentioned in an older thread but they seem to be really tricky to find. No standard FJ Cruiser wheels I can find in NZ either.
Any help/ advice appreciated!
