Hankook Dynapro ATM - Strange wear

Hi All,

One of the tyres on my 120 is showing strange wear patterns, at least it is strange for me as a newbie. The wear is presenting as a ring of spots on the tyre walls spaced about 5-6" apart (see attached). I bought the car with these tyres on it, are they retreads? Anyone seen similar wear before? Haven't been driving hard offroad (pretty sure neither had the previous owners - elderly couple) or hitting gutters.

Passenger side. who's been running up against kerbs? They are wearing thru the rubber and exposing the white rubber layer (Used for the lettering) beneath. Stop touch parking and the problem will go away. You can see the wear mark on the black section. I bet it doesn't have them on the drivers side.

That makes sense, and you're right, it's only this wheel. I haven't scuffed many gutters (maybe the odd one) over the time I have had it, certainly not regularly - maybe that was enough I guess.
