Hi, first time poster here.
I thought id share my experiences with the tyres and wheels I'm currently running, in the bid to help others.
Tyres are a Nitto Ridegrappler 275/65/R18 - They are great- yes they are noisier than the standard factory tyres but they perform really well and make the car feel more sure footed particularly in the wet.Fuel consumption has increased slightly and speedo is just about perfect 99km hr when showing 100. I have only done about 3000ks so far so cant really comment on long term durability.
Rims Kings Ambush 18/9 with 20 offset. Plus they look good as spare as they dont fit under the spare wheel.
With regards to spare I had purchases dome M12 synthetic spacers to move the tyre off the rear door a couple of mill
Does it fit sans lift?
YES & NO.
YES they will fit on a factory prado with no lift. I had no rubbing issues or problems and didn't require a lift.
Now for the NO
I had an ARB summit bar installed and, only Now am I having issues with rubbing on the under bar protection panelling. After speaking with ARB the only options are Lift or reduced the tyre size. ARB Justification the engineering/design of the Bar is only intended to work with factory specifications ie 265/60/R18 tyres. This is despite having the tyres prior to the bar.
I'm not sure if other bars would experience the same problems.
Hope this helps
