  • J150 new wheel offset and width confirmation

    Hello guys,

I'm looking to change to a more capable AT tire. With all the supply chain shortages, it's been quite difficult to source stuff here (Europe)

    Currently I have a 2020 150 with everything stock. 19x7.5" ET25 265/55R19

I managed to source some 17x8.5" ET18 XD wheels. The original plan was to pair with some 265/65R17 KO2s but they are proving very difficult to find. Importing is a possibility but last resort. Another possible option is to pair with 265/70/R17 KO2s. Which are available in country.

My question is regarding the 17x8.5" ET18 XD wheels with 265/70/R17 KO2s
My understanding is the wheel is 6mm closer to the suspension and the tire will stick out 7 mm the other side. Rim will stick out 20 mm farther. This is according to a calculator
Does this sound correct? And should it be possible with my stock 150? Without rubbing. it also seems to be within the legal limits here.

I just need to confirm before I take the plunge

    Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't go KO2s. They are over rated. What other brands do you have access to?

100% BFG tyres are absolute junk nowadays. Toyo or Nitto far better for these vehicles IMO
