        I think you may be stressing the rear door hinge too much with a ladder like that. Unless it sits on the rear step and only locates on the door.

          If you use the ladder only when the door is closed the latch should take the weight. Make sure the latch bolts are tight and the latch is in good condition though. Very popular in Japan.

            Might be alright for the chinese (small dudes) to be climbing up it but I wouldnt like to be pulling my fat arse of 115kg up on it. Picture not great but I reckon I would bend the brackets back into the door skin and damage it, and I dont like heights anyway lol..........Cheers Steve

              Je je!! I'm not too tall ( 1,75 ) but the back of mi Prado have 3,5".

                  It is illegal in Australia to have this ladder in the place it is in the pic, reason being is it obscures the number plate, I have heard from a mate of mine who is a copper that they are about to do a blitz in QLD regaring obsured number plates.
