Unfortunately I don't have enough money for an ISI or a GripSport so I set about looking for a bike rack that fitted the 90 series.
My requirements were:
- 3 bikes
- doesn't affect departure angle too much (so no flat platform type ones)
- folds up for easy storage in the shed or back of the car
Settled on the Rola TX103 from supercheap (https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/...nt/564518.html) for $259.99. Got this by googling it and finding a picture of it mounted on a 120 series so I thought I'd try it out.
Fits round the spare tyre with about 1.5" of clearance. Pivots so you can get the rear door open enough to get something out. Probably will get some dense foam to pad against the spare wheel but otherwise fine. Comes with a cable lock which is a nice touch but I wouldn't trust it too much. No hitch lock however.
Removing the spare cover would negate the need for padding as it just bumps against the tyre sidewall but in testing this I also found my spare is from 2002 and missing a lug nut, and the lock is stuck, so more work to do!
