Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is a Re-Post but haven't been able to find anything clear about this so far on the forum.
I have a 1996 Toyota Prado, 1KZ-TE, 3L Diesel, Manual, KZJ95W (Japanese import model, I'm guessing it's the same as the KZJ95R?) and am looking to do an oil change on the Diffs, Transfer case and Gearbox.
My question is, are the Transfer Case and Gearbox one unit, or are they seperate? I can't seem to differentiate between the 2. If they are seperate, where would the drain and filler bolts be? Any pictures or info would be a massive help, or even if someone could point me in the right direction. I already know where the front and rear Diff drain and filler bolts are (pretty easy to find), and I think I know where the Transfer case drain and fill are, I just cant seem to figure out where the Gearbox is or if the T-Case and Gearbox are actually just one unit. I'll be honest, to me it just looks like one big unit.
Sorry if this seems like a really silly post but I'm really new to all this and would love to learn more about my car and servicing it myself instead of paying someone else to do it.
Thanks for any help!
