VZJ95 Rear Diff replacement availability

The old girl is starting to cost me money. I knew the day would come.

Rear diff is whining like a 5 year old who has had their iPad taken away.

Going to have a couple of shots of rum and then ask for a price from Toyota, but I expect it will be a couple of thousand. Don't seem to be available new in the US, $1100 from Amayama, assuming its the right part when it arrive.

Any aftermarket alternatives?

Call some wreckers? Make sure you know what ratio you need - I think the ratios are RV:4.1 Diesel: 3.9 all other petrols 4.3
Also I am pretty sure that some Hilux 3rd members will fit... if you can have it off the road, take the diff centre with you to a 4wd wrecker near you... should be able to get one for a few hundred max
