Sunroof

Hi, got a problem with the factory sunroof on my 2000 model Grande. I used the slide (as opposed to tilt) option yesterday and now all of a sudden it stops about 15mm short of closing. It feels more like the calibration could be out rather than an obstruction. Before writing I did some research and on a 4Runner forum they were talking about re-initialising the system by disconnecting the battery for 15 mins, and then they lose me... Has anyone here had the same problem? If so how did you fix it?
