Am saving my pennies hard, and looking at options to get more air into the engine. I know any upgrades won't be much good without the exhaust to match, but got to start somewhere.
Have been browsing the forums here and got plenty of ideas, but have a few questions.
Am definitely keen to get the airaid intake tube (airaid # 510-934), and am eyeing up the throttle body spacer at the same time (airaid #510-502), to save on shipping etc as I would be buying from ebay in the states.
Anyone else have the throttle spacer, and what benefits have you seen?
Would also like to get a high flow oiled air filter while I am at it. Airaid also do oiled (# 850-054) and non oiled ( # 851-054) but the cost of getting the oil and cleaner (on ebay bout $10 US) shipped to NZ is nearly $50 US.
So does K&N do a filter to suit the 96 prado with square airbox? Think part number is K&N 33-2054 but is someone able to confirm this please?
