Hi there,
I replaced my timing belt on my Prado 95 series, 2000 model. The belt is OEM I believe it's made by Gate.
I lined up the marks perfectly and I'm sure that no mistakes were done when following the whole procedure with this. I ran the engine today and started perfectly on petrol but when I switched to LPG the idle is rough and I can see the rpms are dropping to about 600-700.
I have no idea why is this happening and really worried about it as I was getting ready for a Christmas trip to QLD.
Any help would really be appreciated guys as I have no idea what could be wrong here. Really frustrated with this as it took also took me two days to finish up.
Also note keep in mind:
- Changed the water pump as well
- New Coolant
- I believe I didn't knock the CAM sensor which is mounted on the block of the engine
- Engine shakes a bit on LPG, due to the low idle?
Really sorry for posting as a new user here, just discovered this website.
