Re: trd supercharger
Hey Rossy,
I don't know anyone that has fitted one to a Prado, but I do know of a few people that have fitted them to similar models. There is a guy on A4WDA forums, coincidently named Rossi, who fitted a TRD charger to a 3.4L V6 Hilux, and another bloke Nemisis, who just fitted one to a 4Runner running the 1UZ Lexus V8(non TRD charger /w intercooler).
Be sure to keep us posted on how you go.

Re: trd supercharger
weput on a trd BULLET charger 2 yrs ago they set up the computer/charger for towing/economy for us gives awesome towing ability-like a mack truck and great economy when not towing drivability is much better- torque throughout the rev range no longer narrow like the stock engine . Has only the first boost pulley(6psi) so its not a bitumen melter but does have VERY long legs (200kph plus) Ours was before 7th injector but i added water injection in case of any detonation . cost -7500 plus which was cheaper than car/engine change. Ours is daily driver/touring-towing so we needed reliabilty for outback/desert travel, seems to be so far(done approx 50000) Our 2001 3.4 has from new never had a cat or oxygen sensor and needed 98 fuel or would drown itself in fuel using 91 due to high timing before charger was added , so Tom at Bullet gave us 2 programs (tunings) to run 98 or 91-problem solved.

Re: trd supercharger
hey guys i have fitted supercharger but the trd 7th injector wiring would not plug into my ecu so iam getting bullet cars to fit a daul map piggy back ecu and am looking forward to putting it to the test every impressed so far but not impressed with NRMA thay wont insure the prado with the supercharger because its not produced in australia even after 26 years of insurance but shannons will. will keep everyone posted on performance and fuel consumption. cheers99 snowy v6,bilsteins , pedders springs std height, polyair bags, bf goodrich at 265/70/16, daul batteries, safari snorkel, modified exhaust & extractors, rallie 4000s, gme tx472s uhf, 12v to rear ,40l ingel & slide ,tinted windows, rhino racks, electric brakes, trd supercharger, alpine cd & ipod, pp sticker.

Re: trd supercharger
Hi Rossy,
Congrats on a sucessful install !
The dyno results are excellent, more torque at the wheels than standard flywheel output and not far off in power also.
It will be good to see the install pics and what you think of the overall improvement in drivabilty and how the fuel economy has been affected.
Looking forward to your next post.

Re: trd supercharger
It's looking good, I wouldn't mind having that power and torque available... What was the final cost for the upgrade? Any problems with install? What is consumption like without towing, highway, city?98 GXL 3.4V6

Re: trd supercharger
jeepster to answer your question i have not tested city/highway fuel consumption yet but it looks promissing i paided $2250.00 for the complete supergharger kit. but the 7th injecter ecu would not fit because mine is an early model parado.i had a piggyback ecu fitted & tuned by chiptorque cost $1500.00+$200.00to dyno it99 snowy v6,bilsteins , pedders springs std height, polyair bags, bf goodrich at 265/70/16, daul batteries, safari snorkel, modified exhaust & extractors, rallie 4000s, gme tx472s uhf, 12v to rear ,40l ingel & slide ,tinted windows, rhino racks, electric brakes, trd supercharger, alpine cd & ipod, pp sticker.
