My 99 3.4l V6 Prado will start but will die straight away. I thought it was the fuel pump as I couldn’t hear it when turning on the ignition so I dropped the fuel tank and tested the pump to find that the pump still worked. I checked how much power was going to the pump and it was only 4-5 Volts. But has 12v at the sub tank switch. So I’m thinking it’s the fuel pump relay?
I checked the fuse box in the engine bay and kick panel fuse box but the relay isn’t located there. Does anyone know where it’s located? Or let me know if you think it might be a different issue. Cheers
