Hi all,
I have a 90 series (3door/SWB) Prado with a 1KZ-TE and an automatic transmission. (A343F)
I have noticed that there is a play in my shifter lever & even in Park the lever moves back and forth (doesn't shift though)
I want to address this, so what's the best way to go about it and what possibly could be going wrong. Recently I have started to have the issue of 'P' not being engaged fully, resulting in the inability to turn the ignition key all the way to 'lock' to pull it out.
I'm a DIY sort of guy, so wanted to check up here what to look for & address the issue.
