2000+ 2nd row seats fit in a pre 2000 Model?

Hey All,

First post and need some help. I'm looking into purchasing a Prado and due to my budget i can only afford a pre 2000 Model.

The only issue that when doing some research it seems that the early ones have a one piece 2nd row seat where the later model have a split 2nd row seat.

Does anyone know if i can fit a later model 2nd row seat in? I have 2 kids under 3 so i need child seats but i also need access to the 3rd row.

Hi Dennis,

This have been covered before and the later model seats won't fit as the floor plan is different - the seat hinge securing points.

Its always a good idea to do a search before starting a new thread, it helps to keep the number of duplicate threads to a minimum.

and you won't regret buying a Prado either

Thanks for the response, i did actually try a search and didn't seem to find what i was after. Maybe i wasn't doing it correctly.
