  • Looking to Replace Compass/Altimeter/Pitch/Roll with Aftermarket Display

The stock Compass/Altimeter/Pitch/Roll display on top of the dash is not working. Compass is always North in every direction, pitch/roll is always down a little bit and not sure if Altimeter even works.

Is there a way to get rid of this whole unit and replace with an aftermarket item that looks good and displays various things that are helpful?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    S

P.S. Can someone tell me how to delete a photo already attached to a message? I can't find a delete button.

I am not sure that this was ever included on Prados sold in Australia so we might not be able to help.

There's probably a good app for that. You can search the App or Play Store and get a cheap phone to do it. Not as convenient as permanent dials but...

I see. An app might be a good way to do it. But I want to get rid of this big display unit on the dash as it's just wasting space and none of it works at all. Maybe I can replace it with some custom dials that tells me useful information or at least look cool.

It is possible to repair it by replacing the polarizer.
