Thinking of doing a gvm upgrade on my lc 90 wagon....currently on 33s and 2"tough dog shocks and springs...but have just purchased a new caravan and want to bring the towing capacity up a bit to take it over legal...and advice greatfully accepted

The GVM part is to allow for the towball down weight from the van whilst still allowing the vehicle to be legal.
It it drives me nuts that the upgrade is legal on one car, but not on another just because one is registered. The is obviously no safety issues involved as this would prevent both vehicles being upgraded.Stephen Bloomer

It would be a waste of money to spend that much on a 90 series. Better to sell and buy something else if you need to tow more.Michael and Kelly
