  • Replacement front springs for 90s series (no lift)

So I have inherited my brothers 2000 model Prado GXL, and the front springs are sagging something fierce (40mm right, 20mm left) and are in need of replacing before a big trip in October, and I'm not sure where to start as to finding replacements.

The springs in there are Pedders Trakryders, which I wish to find an equivalent of, but not Pedders manufacture (the ones in there started going just after the warranty ran out, along with a few other Pedders parts. Screw them). There is no lift, and according to my brother, the previous owner, these springs are stiffer than the stock Toyota ones so I need to find similar ones that match the stiffness of the rears.

Where do I start looking for equivalents? I've contacted a few manufacturers (like Superior Engineering) but they were unable to help me.

When it comes to suspension, I am something of a novice, and so any advice is handy.
