The OEM FJ Cruiser rims are 17x7.5" ET15 and the 90 series alloy rim is 16x7" ET15 and both have a PCD of 6/139.7 so shouldn't be an issue but I have to ask why?
When the 120 Prado first came out, people were going to extreme measures to fit 16" rims and now you want to go to 17"

Im getting a 50mm lift next week and plan on running 265/75/R16's on the OEM alloys but just thinking about other options for wheels is all and I like the look of the older FJ cruiser rims.

In 2002 when the 120 series first appeared 17” tyre options were limited, especially if you wanted aggressive tread. Today there are many options for 17” tyres.
You’ll find the 265/75R16 to be almost identical in overall dimensions to the 265/70R17
