What’s the largest size tyre for a 90 series

I’ve got a 95 series that doesn’t have a lift, and is currently running 225/75/r16s

whats the max size tyre I can run without installing a lift kit?

the tyre shop has said 245/75/r16’s will fit, but 265s are a bit of a stretch.

Thoughts?

So - without flairs the max size that'll fit and not stick out is 245/75/r16.

I have 265/75/R16s on 100 series Landcruiser 16x9 rims which I *think* have an ET15 (+15mm) offset. With flares, my tyres are only just legal I reckon!

I have 265/75/16s on VX alloys and they don't touch anything.
