I just had a call from Jeff_S from team B, they have done a rear cargo panel window on the passengers side. Damn that is an expensive window to have replaced. Anyway I rang around Alice to see what I can get done and have the car booked in on Monday morning at 8 am to get the window replaced. I don't have any details of how it got broken.

The story was that approaching Kalgoorlie we were overtaking another car and trailer. All I can guess is a rock shot out from his spare tyre on the trailer drawbar and smashed the passenger side rear 1/4 window .
Kal didnt have any so the next best place was Alice.
I didnt get a pic of this, I think some of the others did, But Chippy pulled out the 100mile an hour tape and we made a temp up pretty quick. Worked a treat.
The same stretch of road also chipped 2 windsceens.. :evil:

Later in the trip we also copped a stone chip in the windscreen. Oh the joys of traveling. TrevL also has a beauty of a crack in his windsceen.

I hope you all made it back home safely.
The Boggy hole mob had a ball. Boggy hole was great. great track in and out, and it was so dark before the moon came up that the stars lit up the sky.
We had Thunderbirds, cars an alpha, numeric and quiz orders, helpfull trckers, slow road trains, The quiz master and mistress, the quiz champs, the Warakurna poker championship, grog runs, team silly, chinese wispers which all made a 600+K day go by without knowing it. We were in stitches crying a couple of times.
We didnt want it to end.
The best 2 weeks we have had.
And the final supper was magnificent. Albion irish pub in Kal was fantastic, even got a few drinks on the house. cant beat that, and a nice port to finish the night was the icing on the cake.

Bring on the post GTG meat up BBQ, wherever that may be. hopefully around lots of dirt. and if you dont like it.......

Agreed it was a great trip the 'boggy hole 6' had a ball. I've already started organising 'Radio Bingo' for the next trip......
