4WD Action or Custom Action

HI All,

Well the story and photos for the PradoPoint GTG 2009 event have been submitted to 4WD Action magazine at the request of the editors. Now they have asked me if it would be alright to change the magazine from 4WD Action to Custom Action magazine to run the article as they have had a story pulled from that magazine and need another to run in its place. The difference is that if it went into Custom Action it would be out before Christmas but if we stay with 4WD Action then it will be in the March 2010 issue. So I am going to run a simple poll on it to see what the membership thinks.

The poll is just to ask which one people think would be the better magazine for the story to appear in. Ultimately though the major sponsor has the final say as the sponsorship was sold to them on the premise that it would be in 4WD Action magazine. If the sponsors says it is okay to run in Custom Action then the result will be the outcome of the poll.

My vote is 4wd action - it seems to suit this mag better as the GTG it is more about trips, etc. rather than customised trucks, so to speak.

Having said that, even if it was in Woman's Day I would still buy it

IMO the names for the mags are misleading, therefore I believe that 4wd Action would get more interested exposure than the Custom would just my 2c 8)

I think the Poll worm is leaning slightly towards 4WD Action :lol: :lol:

Okay I am closing the poll as it is overwhelmingly evident that the members want the story to appear in 4WD Action magazine. I believe the sponsors also wish this too. So I have informed the editors to keep the story for 4WD Action which does unfortunately mean that it will not appear until next year but I guess that is life.
