Re: News reports from the GTG

I stumbled across a couple of pics of the Pradopoint Fairy.

The first pic shows his face fairly clearly ... and the second pic is more than anyone really wants to see ... as he escapes into the snow

See if you can recognise the culprit ....

    Cheers

Re: News reports from the GTG

            Hi Folks

Apparently the Pradopoint Fairy was so secretive (just like the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny) that photos are rare if not available at all. I do have it on good authority that the Pradopoint Fairy is of no fixed abode and can show up at any time.

The GTG was fantastic and the organisors and volunteers can take a bow. The Qld contigent have discussed sticking our hands up for next years event.

            Regards, Richo and Gay.

Matt, I wish I could put my hand up for this one, but I can honestly say it wasnt me; but I wish it had been with all the good work that he/she did.
Looking forward to finding out who it actually was.

Just a quick thanku 2 Gay for doing such a great job of keeping our 2 1/2 year old ammused and must say she does a great impersoantion of a safari person on the hunt looking through make believe binoculars and stomping through the jungle, and our 2 1/2 insisted that gay change her nappy instead of mum or dad, luckilly 4 Gay it was only a piddle. She still mentions Gay now and the jungle, thanks heaps Gay was appreciated shame we didnt get on video. Regards Steve & Kell

Re: News reports from the GTG

Mrs Callo and I would also like to say a huge thank you to the organisers. We had a ball. Getting to the GTG with the Qld mob was superb and we commented on the way .... "The GTG boys have a big task to beat what we are doing just getting to the GTG". But they delivered. Three very different and enjoyable drives, a great location to camp, plenty of time to socialise and above all meeting new friends and seeing old friends again.
Thank you all we had a great time.
We are now in Broken Hill on our way to the Flinders to meet friends there for a week or so and then on to Strezleki and Birdsville tracks before getting back to civilization around the three peninsulars in South Australia and Kangaroo Island. After that it is up Murray and home via Melbourne and the NSW south coast.
Today we travelled alone across some pretty remote roads from Wilcannia to Broken Hill via a long stretch of the Darling River bank and all of the Menindee Lakes. What a special time to be here. Lakes at over 100%, birds and animals everywhere, wildflowers just superb.
We are truly blessed to do this after such great time getting to and participating in the GTG.
                      Thanks again to all.
                      Callo
PS The PP Fairy missed me. Does that mean I am now a suspect?

Re: News reports from the GTG

Getting pretty hot on the trail of the Pradopoint fairy. Caught up with the Flinders Ranges fairy in the Flinders Ranges (naturally) during the post GTG Drive4Life fundraising trip. She had heard about the escapades of the Pradopoint fairy at the GTG and was none too impressed that another fairy would lower herself to do the work of those pesky elves. Wouldn't tell me where to find the PP fairy but hinted that she could be found anywhere there are 2 or more Prados gathered for a worthwhile cause.

Gee thanks Mav, you must have a variant with dual zone aircon (2008+ GXL option pack, Grande 2003+, VX 2007+) as they scored the thermoelectric fan. Since you've raised the topic again I'll enquire of Toyota as to what gives!
