Evenin all,
Just returned home about an hour ago and hosed down the car. I went home thru the Barrington Tops again and it was sloppy and rough on the Tops main road. I did 1100 kms on this trip.
The GTG went well with the first nights' gathering of all participants (except for a few stragglers) at the main wool shed where we all sat down for a nice meal and briefing for the coming days planned trips. Each day we split into our respective traveling groups as I allocated to each car. I planned to have different people on differing groups to hopefully make some new mates and have a laugh at each other along the way. Each day our three trips leaders (Samo, Yota and Jcas24) lead a team into either the Barrington's, Stockton beach or up to Mount Allyn. Also I would like to thank Damonat, Jacto and Prado887 for taking on and brilliantly performing the duties of tail end charlies' for their respective groups. Monday culminated in a lunchtime BBQ , at which Mav gave our prizes for many different categories and also a lucky draw. I would like to personally thank Ample Outdoors, TJM Alice Springs and Maxtrax for both the prizes and financial assistance in running this event. Once again, this event would have never eventuated without Mav's brilliant work and thankless commitment to Pradopoint.
Also, a big thank you to the 'Pradopoint fairly' who decorated both mine and Samo's car on the last night....
Here is a couple of snaps I had on my camera and I am sure there are many better ones to come soon........
