    2011 Pradopoint GTG ????

    I know that the organisers have barely had time to take a deep breath since the 2010 GTG, but i was wondering if the powers that be had any idea where and when next years event might be held?
    Our travel plans for 2011 are rapidly falling apart, so if there was some idea when and where, it would be great to make new plans around going!

    There are no real powers that be. I planned the 2010 GTG by just looking for a suitable date, searching for a good venue and sitting down with some mates to arrange some good family suitable day trips.

        This might need suggestions from people on what /when / where...

        The few potential options are:

        Fraser Island - QLD
        Robe - SA
        High Country - Victora
        ...
        Something more central to everyone bu too far from almost everyone - NT

          You can count us QLDers in for the running to host the 2011 GTG.

          Those of us QLDers who were lucky enough to take 6 days to travel down to this years 2010GTG via state forests etc are already talking of what locations/trips we can show-case to our other PP friends in other states. I have no doubt that there will be plenty of QLDers ready to put their hands up as trip leaders if necessary and we are looking at having a meeting soon to start discussions on how it will be run.

          Our idea is not to limit next years GTG by number of cars where possible. Stay tuned for updates fellow PPers.
          SSSHHHH be very very quiet were huntin wabbits.

            We had 50 spaces available, on 30 cars turned up.... So spaces mean bugger all really.

                      Rather than having 2 consecutive GTGers on the east coast might i suggest that this could be a good place for 2012! I could be wrong but i don't believe that there were any PPers from SA or WA at the recent event. Obviously SA would suit me best, and it is central to most everyone. Somewhere in the Flinders Ranges would seem the logical choice. The Flinders is a good starting or finishing point for anyone travelling the Oodnadatta, Birdsville or Strezlecki tracks.
                      I am happy to be involved with the organisation if some other South Aussies are willing to put their hands up to help.

                          had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.
