It has come time to trade-in the old girl and buy my first ever brand new car.
Currently it is just getting to the age and km where every service is costing more and more and there is always a little doubt in my mind as to its ongoing reliability. There is no doubt that the car will 'run' for another 100,000km but I'm not willing to accept the oil leaks and weird noises that it will make to get there.
I'm looking at purchasing a 2019 GXL Prado and trading-in my old car.
The question I have is what are people's experiences with trading a car in with accessories? Is it worth me taking things off before trade-in such as:
- drawers
- awning
- trans cooler
- amts compressor/filter mount (With compressor and filter). I'm guessing this still fits the 2.8?
Would the trade-in value be affected much without these items? What are others experiences.
