  • Bonnet struts

I was quoted by a Toyota dealer (Grand Motors Southport, QLD) around $500 to replace the two bonnet struts on my 120 series a while back. I thought "how on earth could it be that much" so I checked on eBay. $24.95 and half an hour of your time - done.

Did you ask them to re-quote without the 24 carat gold plating included. I bought mine off eBay too when I bought my car. Nice & cheap & they work fine. If they fail again in 5 years time I’ll just buy another pair.

Why is there such a huge price difference? Is this considered a scam? I also own an old toyota. Lucky to know this information. we become what we behold
