  • Modification of the Year

Following an interesting 3 day trip, a few "unique" mods were noted arising of of both necessity and ingenuity. Naturally such "mods" are encouraged and should be rewarded, either through posting with a sneaky picture of by being selected "best mod of the year.

The rules, well there is only one, this thread is NOT FOR SERIOUS MODS. It is to reflect the lighter side of life and the silly and sometimes desperate things we have to do.

There are 2 nominees who will be posted shortly. Let the nominations begin and stay open until say December for the selection of a winner.

The prize, nothing except the fame and misfortune.

Lets see if you can work out what this modification is for and what the benefits are?

Ahh but she can still reach across... OT I know but a couple of years ago I was nearly liberace'd at a set of traffic lights by an old sad XF falcon. Alerted by the noise I watched all unfold in the rear view mirror. Family of Islanders inside and very shocked looks as they pulled up about 500mm behind me. About 10 seconds after the smoke cleared the wife reached across and slugged hubby in the jaw with one of the left hooks I have ever seen. Then she began pummelling him non stop until the lights were green. Brillinat stuff.

I think kav's mod is hard to beat.

Here's my effort. An inner CV boot leak that came free with my OME lift. CV grease is great mud/water/rust preventative.

The mod is slow release CV grease. It's all-in-1 front suspension protection.... not like its something that will lead to catastrophic CV failure half way through a gnarly hill climb hundreds of K's from home. [/sarcasm]
