  • The New Toyota 4Runner on Expedition Overland series.....

I've been watching this series on Youtube as it's been interesting to follow....

They recently uploaded a new Updated video of the new Expedition Overland vehicles and equipment. Interesting that this season they have used the New 4Runner instead of the old 100's Cruiser or 200's. I wonder if that vehicle will come here?? They also don't seem to be using any of the Aussie accessories like they did in other seasons.....

Man I want that 4Runner what a great setup!! I'm betting about $20k of mods, I particularly like the winch set up so that a bullbar isn't necessary as doesn't detract from the vehicle looks.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Interesting design for the Rear Swing-away Bar..... Very useful drop down table, but not sure how clean it would remain after some muddy tracks

The Rear drawer system was pretty impressive, especially with the pull out stove under the fridge side....

Interesting to see they are using the General Grabber tires. The mechanic shop I use, which are 4wd specialist, have recommended the General Grabbers as most of them have switched to them.

Being from Canada originally they are seen much more in North America.

They have been on my short list for the next set of tires for the Cape trip in 2016

But they used OME springs and I'm pretty sure that compressor was an ARB job. And then there is the Maxtrax, they are an Aussie product. I guess some of the other stuff externally just isn't being developed by Aussie companies like ARB because we don't have the 4Runners here. The roof rack looked like a Rhino Pioneer Platform clone so they borrowed that idea from the Aussies too.

Don't get me depressed, been sending Toyota emails for years to bring in the 4Runner! WOuld buy that in a heartbeat!

Anyone else want to spam Toyota about the 4Runner?

They are available in Australia I think they are available from the National Luna Distributor.
