Wetseat neoprene seat covers - again

Hi. I am keen on these wetseat neoprene covers for my tx 95 series prado. But i have some concerns.
i've been searching through the interweb including prado point, but can find little good data on these seat covers, lots of theories on how sweaty and how smelly they can get, but rearly from long term owners, also stacks of info on the best colour stitching etc.
my concerns are: will the covers soak up water and take for ever to dry, do they get hot n sweaty, do they last and do they fit.
Are there any long term owners of these covers can recomend or not?

Hi Simon, I have had these on my 120 for 3 years now.
Very comfy and hard wearing, I have no rips or tears as yet. When they get wet they dry reasonably fast. I have not noticed any smell from them and I haven't washed them at all. But they are rather dirty now and I should wash them i suppose.
They fit well but can move around over time and you need to re-adjust them now and then.
So as for how hot they get...... yes on very hot days they make you sweat and it can be annoying, but I have only taken them off once for this reason when I was doing a long trip in hot weather and it got too uncomfortable ie too sweaty.
Would I recommend them? yes and no...... they are not for Hot areas but i can live with it in our sydney summers but north QLD or NT no way.

thanks for your honesty and advice. I'm in Perth and it does get hot over here, not as humid as further north, but am planing a 3 month round Oz trip next year. So thinks I will give them miss, which is a bit of shame as i do like there clean lines! Oh well probably back to a cheap set of $30 supercheap specials and a towel when i get out of the water, after all it has worked for the last 20 years or so:-)
