Well in a few short months the Prado will be up for sale as I have accepted a 3 year stint in the USA. Sob, going to miss the Prado and normal people

So I thought I'd ask the hive what new car I should get in the US to carry all my guns around ? F250 anyone ??
Is there a prado equivalent ?

The big Toyota Trucks (think Tacoma and Tundra) seem rather Prado-esque inside. In fact, I think one of the previous models had the Prado A/C controls.
No idea how they go as daily drives though...

Look at a Toyota 4runner or Tacoma 'shorty' (5ft tray).

I've seen good reviews of the new models recently and they seem to be closer in size to a Landcruiser rather than going full Americana truck.

Alternatively if you want an awesome truck try a F150 Raptor!

Amts - V8 is cool I'll give you that, although the design on the Lexus is butt ugly compared to the 150 Prado IMHO. Also at US$65k, I'd be inclined to stretch for the 2011 Ferrari California for $110k I just saw...drool.. Anyway thanks and I will sit in one on the next trip to see.
