  • Audio system issues

    Hi guys,
I am glad to have found this forum. I have a 2009 Prado Kakadu and have some issues with the audio system. It started with blue tooth connection to my phone and speakers, I guess , not working with it. I couldn’t hear my calls/ music or anything through the car speakers, guessed it was bloodroots or Aux issue. Now it’s also my radio that I can’t hear. Any ideas on how to reset the audio system or any experience with a similar issue??
    Thanks

I installed an aftermarket Pioneer headunit and since then have no issues. Your is probably worn out and will require full exchange.

The bluetooth in the 2009 to the 2013 (?) VX and Kakadu will support phone call pairing - but not music playback.

In my 2010 Kakadu, I use one of these in the centre console area -

powered via the USB port, and 3.5mm output goes into the AUX input on the same socket in the car.

I just pair the phone to both the car and the TPLink device and select AUX to listen to music, and when a call comes in it auto switches to the phone call.
      I works surprisingly well.
